After a very difficult year for the artistic community in LA, we need spaces for artists to create free from constraints now more than ever! Our strike hiatus is over and we can't wait to get back to hosting workshops with you all. But in order to keep the workshops free to both workshoppers and attendees we fundraise once a year to pay for space rental and additional expenses. And due to not just the strikes, but the pandemic, our last fundraiser was in 2019! Our See What Sticks Community can only survive with the support of patrons who want to keep this a free and safe space for artists to develop their work.

To show you exactly what value See What Sticks has in the LA community our Gala this year will showcase works in progress by our Workshop Jam artists! See What Sticks has been supporting the development of 6 original pieces in television, theater, comedy, and film over the past six weeks. In this free program, the workshoppers have been collaborating, writing, performing, revising, and revising again to develop their dream projects.

See What Sticks exists to support artists like them -- and you! -- but our Gala won't just be in-progress work. There will be a silent auction featuring hand-made goods, entertainment swag and paraphernalia, books autographed by their authors and exclusive 1-on-1s with writers, showrunners, and comedians for anyone looking for career advice, script consultations or mentorship! All that and the party can keep going at the Broadwater Plunge next door, which will have a See What Sticks signature cocktail!
