A workshop, with an audience.

Sometimes, you have to put your work on its feet and see what sticks.

Each month we give artists a theater, and they do the rest.

We Workshop

See What Sticks is a free, monthly workshop with an audience. It’s that simple. Artists of all disciplines can dig in to their most recent work-in-progress and present it to an engaged community. We offer the stakes of a deadline, the legitimacy of an audience, and the collaborative freedom of a workshop environment. Afterward, stick around! Get a drink, grab some food, and mingle on the patio at the Lyric Hyperion. Discuss what you just saw, get feedback, and make some new friends before you head on to your Saturday night.

We Develop

When we are able, the See What Sticks team offers development and production opportunities for projects workshopped with us previously through our creative lab series.

Creative Lab is currently on hold due to the pandemic. Look for more info here when we’re back!

We Party

We are committed to being a free event to the creative community of Los Angeles, but we have to pay the bills somehow. Once a year, we fundraise with a Gala event (usually in June) to celebrate our workshoppers and our community. Complete with signature SWS cocktails, merch, games, performances, and a silent auction, our annual Gala is a night of fun that keeps the lights on for the rest of the year!

If you’re interested in donating to our silent auction, email us.
